Alternative medicine and treatments aren’t cures for cancer. They’re there to ease the symptoms of cancer.

To relieve nausea caused by chemotherapy: Acupuncture
Needles are inserted into the skin at specific points, which may relieve nausea and chronic pain.

To sleep better: Cognitive behavioral therapy
Conducted by a psychotherapist, this therapy can help resolve deep trauma, improving your sleep.

To ease chronic pain and muscle tension: Massage
By kneading skin, tendons, and muscles, practitioners relieve pain and reduce fatigue and anxiety.

To do low-impact exercise: Tai Chi
Slow, fluid movements are incorporated into deep breathing techniques to help you stay active and mindful.

To reduce anxiety: Music therapy
Without requiring a musical talent, music therapy may involve singing, playing instruments, or listening to curated sounds.

Before seeking alternative therapies, consult your physician.
